In today’s episode of Yeh Rista Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 1st June 2025, Kaveri gives her saree to Abhira. This is the same saree that Kaveri’s husband gave her on her 25th birthday.
Kaveri tells Abhira that she used to think her children and sons in law would be with her in her old age. But now only Abhira and Vidya are with her. Kaveri says that because Abhira stayed with her for so long, Abhira’s life has become dull.
But Abhira says her life did not become dull. In fact it became even better. She says she does not smile less because of wrinkles. She is happy from inside.
Abhira hugs Kaveri. Just then Vidya comes and says it looks like a group hug is going on without her. Then all three hug together.
Krish’s Engagement Function
At Krish’s engagement many guests are present. Manoj tells Kiara and Manisha that Kaveri will not come. Kiara says Vidya will also not come. But Manisha says Abhira will bring both of them.
Then Manisha sees that Abhira Vidya and Kaveri have reached the function. Manisha tells Kajal that they have come. Kajal Sanjay Kiara Manisha and Manoj go and meet Kaveri Vidya and Abhira.
But no one goes to Krish. Sanjay asks Krish why he did not touch Kaveri’s feet. Krish says when Sanjay touched her feet Kaveri did not bless him. Even Abhira did not talk to him. Sanjay says many of Kaveri’s known people are here.
He did all this only for Kaveri’s respect. Krish says Kaveri’s time is over. Now it is Krish’s time and it will remain his time ahead too.
Abhir and Chaaru’s Life in Japan
All the ladies sit and talk. Abhira tells Kajal that Abhir and Chaaru are very happy in Japan. Abhir got a job as a music teacher in Daksh’s school and because of that he also takes care of Daksh. Kajal says everyone could not come to the engagement but she wants the full family to attend the wedding.
Then Abhira says talking about family where is Kajal’s would be daughter in law. Kajal points and says there she is.
Krish’s Fiancee Gets Angry
As Kajal’s daughter in law enters the music stops. She gets angry and says play the song again. She enters again but still stays angry. She says the song should start from the beginning. The song starts again. She enters once more but it stops again. She asks Krish if he forgot his steps and says should we call the choreographer.
Krish says no he remembers the steps. Music starts again. This time everything goes right. Both of them dance well and the steps are also right.
Abhira Meets the Vyapar Darbar Head
Abhira goes to take water. By mistake she bumps into the head of Vyapar Darbar. He is talking on phone. Abhira thinks maybe he is Krish’s friend.
Then Krish and his would be wife come on stage. She says she always felt she would marry a smart and handsome prince. Her dream came true because of her brother.
She calls her brother on stage. He is the same man who is the head of Vyapar Darbar. He is the one who asked Kaveri and Vidya to leave during the presentation. Abhira Vidya and Kaveri are shocked to see him.
Mayra and Armaan’s Watermelon Game
On the other side Mayra is eating watermelon and throws the seeds with her mouth on the fridge. The seeds that stick become her points.
She is playing a game like this. Armaan comes and asks her what she is doing. Mayra tells him she is playing a game and tells Armaan to play too. Armaan says no.
Mayra says Armaan will lose so he is not playing. Armaan says now he will play. Both eat watermelon and throw the seeds on the fridge with their mouth.
Geetanjali Helps with Mayra’s Project
Just then Geetanjali comes and says she thought Mayra’s father stays with her but now another boy is with her. Geetanjali asks Mayra if her art project is complete.
Mayra says she did not have chart paper and glitter at home. Geetanjali says she has them. She tells Mayra to go take them from her drawer.
Mayra goes. Geetanjali asks Armaan if he wants to say something. Armaan thinks he tries so much but still cannot care for Mayra like Geetanjali does.
Armaan tells Geetanjali to send him the list of things needed for Mayra’s project. Armaan says Geetanjali helps him a lot but gets nothing in return.
Geetanjali says when Mayra is happy it feels like she has got everything. Just then Mayra comes and says let us make the project now. Mayra and Geetanjali start working on the project together.
