Yeh Rista Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 17th August 2025, In today’s episode you will see that Mayra and Abhira win the dance competition. They also get a big prize. The audience feels happy with their victory but only one person is not happy and that is Geetanjali. She is upset because Mayra called Abhira her mother and Abhira danced with Mayra and won the competition.
Geetanjali feels that Mayra is going away from her. Her heart breaks and she becomes very sad. She sits down on the floor. Abhira, Armaan and Mayra stand together hugging each other with the prize. Just then Anshuman comes and congratulates them. When Armaan sees Anshuman he starts to move away from Abhira.
Later when Abhira and Mayra are about to go home, Abhira tells Mayra to go and talk to Geetanjali. Mayra goes to Geetanjali and tells her that she won the dance competition and also got the prize. Geetanjali does not even look at Mayra.
Abhira then goes to the hospital again where Vidya and Kaveri are present. Vidya tells Abhira that today Mayra called her mother because of Armaan. Vidya asks if it is true that Abhira got angry with Armaan and decided to marry Anshuman. Abhira says that Vidya is right. When she was upset with Armaan she agreed to marry Anshuman. But now Abhira will marry Anshuman because she gave him a promise. Abhira says she can break her heart but she cannot break her promise.
Meanwhile Mayra and Armaan are standing outside the Goenka house. Mayra tells Armaan not to go back to Mount Abu. She says he should stay here as he has a big family and a big house. Armaan smiles. Just then they hear someone shouting from inside the Goenka house.
When they go inside they see Tanya shouting with happiness because Abhira and Anshuman’s court marriage is after two days. Mayra goes to Abhira and hugs both Abhira and Anshuman. Armaan is about to leave from there but Mayra calls him near. Armaan congratulates Abhira but he looks very sad and everyone can see that.
When Armaan reaches Poddar house he sees that Geetanjali is leaving the house. Armaan asks Geetanjali to talk with him. Geetanjali says she does not want to talk. Armaan tells her that many changes have come in her life because of him but those changes can be handled. He tells her that he wants to help her. Geetanjali replies that if Armaan really wants to help her then he should never show his face to her again.
After saying this she leaves. Dadu apologises to Armaan on behalf of Geetanjali. Armaan tells Dadu not to say sorry and instead to take Geetanjali safely to Mount Abu. After that Armaan goes to his room.
At night Abhira makes Mayra lie on the bed and wishes her good night. She is about to leave for her room when Mayra asks her to sleep beside her since Abhira is her mother. Abhira lies down with Mayra. Abhira tells her that if she has any problem with Anshuman or with their marriage she can tell her. Mayra then brings a photo of Abhira and Armaan’s wedding and shows it to Abhira.
She says that Abhira married Armaan but then Armaan took Mayra to Mount Abu and because of that Abhira stopped talking to him. But now Armaan has brought Mayra back to Abhira so Abhira should marry Armaan again. Abhira remains silent and is not able to say anything.
